The GloRe Game

In the framework of EUROTUREC project (ref num. CSD-VI/372) we developed the GloRe Game. You can print the board and cards of the game. You can make the print in the colourful or in the black&white version. The pdf of board and cards is available for all print styles, including cutting edges. There are 4 different skill set cards, put them to their places on the board. You can use any item for each group as a pawn.

How to play:

• The GloRe certification system guides the volunteer to have their soft skills recognised by their organisation.
• GloRe is a fun, easy, family-friendly board game that everyone can enjoy. People have been playing GloRe to recognise the soft skills acquired or improved during a volunteering experience.
• Participants form groups before starting. Groups can be 2 or more up to the participants number. It’s suggested to have a maximum of 5 people in a group.
• Each group member must be a member of the Glore system before starting the game.

 

Rules of the game:

•  The group that completes the game the fastest wins.
•  If 2 groups come to finish at the same time, the group which has the highest point wins
•  You can also decide 2 teams as winners, one group who finishes first and the other collects the highest point.
•  There are 25 soft skill cards and for each soft skill there are 3 different categories which are case study, open ending and brainstorming
•  After forming the groups each group chooses one card from one soft skill and tries to respond to the question on the card in 3-4 min. All groups select at the same time and do the task written on the card during the same time. 
•  Each card has different points, and the number of progress on the board.
•  After time is up each group responds according to their card and if their response is satisfactory for other groups they get the point and make their moves on the board.
•  Board has challenges and after players make their move, players should follow the instructions on the board.
